Environmental condition monitoring unit


Introduction

The real-time environmental condition monitoring platform or RECMP is designed with the sole purpose of gathering data of key environmental parameters of the surrounding of the unit, filtering and storing in "Thingspeak" cloud database. The reliability, durability, self-sustainability and the expandability of the system have been specially considered in designing the unit. The system is capable of integrating with an array of Arduino based sensors which could be vastly used in agricultural data gathering purpose. The system is capable of identifying the new sensors with minor adjustments. Finally a well-organized android application has been integrated with the system for easy access to recent data. The initial prototype is integrated with three basic sensor units to gather four key environmental parameters.
