Real-time tea plantation parameter monitoring system.

Project description

This system is based on developing real time data collecting systems of the tea plantation.Through the system collecting data of main parameters which causes for the harvest of tea, analyzing, prediction of the future harvest based on current data was intended. The initial online platform was established for the collection of data and the mobile application was developed and integrated with the system to indicate the collecting data.

Bottle conveyor acceleration monitoring system

Project description

A system was developed to collect the accelerations faced by the bottles conveyed through the conveyor line with the intention of reducing the bottle falling and jamming at the packaging system. The system was simply based on the Arduino and micro controller programming. The entire conveyor system's acceleration was mapped and the critical locations were re assessed reducing the downtime of system.

This project was initialized after conducting a deep study based on six sigma and the lean tools about the efficiency losses of bottle packaging line.

A study on can wastage reduction

Project description

A study on reduction of can wastage was carried out based on the lean tools and analyzing the data collected through the empty can inspector system and a descriptive report was prepared revealing the present root causes for the can wastage at the packaging plant. Here this was a great opportunity to take part in this project which was the initial step for lean concept implementation at the packaging unit.
