Project description

Withering is one of the main steps in tea industry. Here the moisture content is reduced from 80% to 55% in the freshly plucked tea leaves. But in the local industry this is monitored based on the experience of the operators manually which leads for a vast variation in the quality of final product.
But through the IOT system we developed the amount of moisture reduction is precisely visualized through an online mobile app which is integrated with the system. The collected data is analyzed and the moisture variation is clearly recognized. The prediction of the moisture reduction also provided through the system for next upcoming hours.
