Introduction The real-time environmental condition monitoring platform or RECMP is designed with the sole purpose of gathering data of key environmental parameters of the surrounding of the unit, filtering and storing in "Thingspeak" cloud database. The reliability, durability, self-sustainability and the expandability of the system have been specially considered in designing the unit. The system is capable of integrating with an array of Arduino based sensors which could be vastly used in agricultural data gathering purpose. The system is capable of identifying the new sensors with minor adjustments. Finally a well-organized android application has been integrated with the system for easy access to recent data. Duration May 2019 – Present Project description Withering is one of the main steps in tea industry. Here the moisture content is reduced from 80% to 55% in the freshly plucked tea leaves. But in the local industry this is monitored based on the experience of the operators manually which leads for a vast variation in the quality of final product. But through the IOT system we developed the amount of moisture reduction is precisely visualized through an online mobile app which is integrated with the system. The collected data is analyzed and the moisture variation is clearly recognized. The prediction of the moisture reduction also provided through the system for next upcoming hours.
